Most in-park choices cluster around Yosemite Village and Yosemite Valley Lodge. The difference is not merely price: counter service, deli food, an upscale-casual dinner, and The Ahwahnee's formal banquet hall serve distinct parts of a Valley day.
Coffee and breakfast
Degnan's Kitchen serves breakfast items, deli sandwiches, salads, and Peet's coffee with indoor and outdoor seating in Yosemite Village. Base Camp Eatery adds a year-round food-court option at Yosemite Valley Lodge; both are casual counter-service choices rather than reservation meals.
Deli lunch for the Valley floor

El Portal has a limited dinner inventory close to Highway 140 lodging. Mariposa adds a walkable historic-downtown cluster, Oakhurst has the broadest mix of casual restaurants and groceries on Highway 41, and Groveland serves Highway 120 stays; none merits a cross-park dinner drive after dark.
Price and booking burden

A packed lunch keeps the Valley floor within walking distance
Cook's Meadow, Lower Yosemite Fall, Sentinel Bridge, and the shuttle corridor can fill the middle of the day without a restaurant stop. Carry lunch and water, use a designated picnic area or an appropriate trail stop, and follow Yosemite's food-storage rules for every unattended item.
